Estimating the OSCE Minsk Groupâ€™s activity toward the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict, Sergei Lavrov said basic principles proposed by co-chairs were a weighty document and could be a good ground for the development of negotiations. The Foreign Minister said the negotiations had never been stopped and would be continued henceforth. Sergei Lavrov, developing theme of the South Caucasus regional conflict, said that State Dumaâ€™s appeal on the recognition of Abkhazian and South Ossetian independence is on the way of researching. â€œI assure you that this appeal will thoughtfully be studied by taking all the factors into considerationâ€.
