Candidates from education, science and culture group chosen to membership of Council for State Support to NGOs under Azerbaijani President

Sector chief of Presidentâ€™s Office socio-political department Tahir Suleymanov also attended the meeting. The chairman, secretary and Accounting Commission of the meeting were chosen. 16 out of 55 candidates for membership withdrew their candidacy. The election was held among 39 men. President of National NGO Forum Azay Guliyev, chairman of Public Union â€œCivil Development Center in Globalizing Azerbaijanâ€ Anar Asadov and director general of â€œBaku Art Centerâ€ Creative Union Rafael Gulmammadli were chosen candidates for the Council membership from the group on the issues of education, science and culture.
The Council will consist of 8 NGO and 3 government representatives. Following this, the process of registration will start and the delegates will be represented in the related sectors. Chairman, deputy chairman and secretary of the Council will be elected. Each Council member will be elected for four years, chairman of the Council will be elected every two years.
