Baku. Lachin Sultanova –APA. Observer status of Kazakhstan in the Council of Europe was discussed at the meeting of PACE Political Committee, Samad Seyidov, head of Azerbaijani delegation to PACE told APA.
Azerbaijan supported observer status of Kazakhstan during the discussions.
“Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan are neighbor countries and they have same positions in several issues. We consider that observer status of Kazakhstan in the Council of Europe is important and productive for Azerbaijan. Our position was supported in the Committee and most parliamentarians supported this position,†he said.
