He noted that PACE Bureau considered this issue at the meeting in Paris on March 13 and the Monitoring Committee decided to continue its activity. Seyidov stated that this was very important decision for Azerbaijan.
“The Council of Europe measures thrice and cut once when passes a decision. It is not right to add destructive elements to the constructive relations between the Council of Europe and Azerbaijan. We will continue our activity in this direction and consider that this issue will not be set up on the agenda of PACE neither in April nor June sessions. If it is laid on the tapis, we will have heavier responses for it,†he said.
