Composition of some election constituencies changed in Azerbaijan

Baku. Elnur Mammadli-APA. Central Election Commission (CEC) has held the next meeting today. APA reports that the protocol of the commissionâ€™s meeting held on January 16 was approved. Following this, the composition of the election constituencies of Narimanov-Nizami #18, Sabayel #29, Mingachevir #47, Aghstafa #108, Aghdam #83, Azizbayov #13 and Azizbayov #14 was changed.
Chairman of the Central Election Commission Mazahir Panahov spoke about the commissionâ€™s recent activities. He said the courses for the members of election commissions had ended successfully and all attendees had been given certificates.
Mazahir Panahov said all conditions would be created for the observers in the forthcoming presidential elections and underlined the importance of NGOsâ€™ participation in this process. Mazahir Panahov said that lower polling stations finished recompiling votersâ€™ lists. He noted that the lists would be presented to CEC by April 5 and confirmed. Following this, the lists would be sent to the lower election commissions and posted on the official website of the CEC.
