Foreign Minister of Senegal Cheikh Tidiane Gadio, said that the amendments covered reinforcement of Islamic Solidarity Foundation, establishment of foundation against poverty to help African peoples and program on writing off the debts of OIC members.
The Statute of Organization of Islamic Conference was adopted in 1972. Senegal’s Foreign Minister said the organization’s Statute was not in line with the modern requirements and underlined that modern world needed modern statute.
