Baku. Rashad Suleymanov – APA. Azerbaijani Government and NATO conduct negotiations in Brussels on starting of the third phase of Saloglu project for the liquidation of UXOs. Azerbaijani representative to NATO Kamil Khasiyev told APA, Nazim Ismailov, Director General of Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) is negotiating this issue with the experts of NATO Material and Technical Supply Agency in Brussels: “Definitely NATO will agree to prolong the project’s deadlineâ€. K.Khasiyev said NATO members and partner countries were developing the convention on the ban of dispenser weapons. “Azerbaijan can view the joining this convention after the solution of Nagorno Karabakh conflictâ€.
