Azerbaijanis living in Ukraine picket outside Armenian embassy in Kyiv

Baku. Mahbuba Gasimbayli-APA. Picket on the 16th anniversary of Khojaly massacre was held outside Armenian embassy in Ukraine. Organizer of the protest action, chairman of Ukrainian Azerbaijanisâ€™ Congress Akif Gulmammadov told APA that over 250 Azerbaijanis participated in the picket.
â€œAzerbaijanis living not only in Kyiv, but also in other regions joined the picket. We could not present the resolution of the picket, as Armenian embassy is closed today. But we will send the resolution to the embassy through the Foreign Ministry,â€ he said.
Chairman of Ukrainian Azerbaijanisâ€™ Congress said they demanded assessment of Khojaly massacre and Armeniaâ€™s releasing Azerbaijani lands. Following this, the participants picketed outside the OSCE office in Ukraine. The resolution prepared by the participants was presented to the office. The Azerbaijanis demanded OSCE to take actions for the liberation of the occupied Azerbaijani territories.
