Commemorative events on 16th anniversary of Khojaly genocide held in Kayseri, Turkey

Kayseri. Mayis Alizade-APA. Commemorative events on the 16th anniversary of Khojaly genocide was held in Kayseri city of Turkey. MP Ganira Pashayeva attending the events told APAâ€™s Turkey bureau that a commemorative event on Khojaly genocide and discussions were held in Kayseri Trade Chamber. Following this, a commemorative event was held in front of the monument erected in memory of Khojaly genocide victims in the central park of Kayseri. Discussions on Khojaly genocide were held in Erciyez University of Kayseri. The participants of all events watched the film about Khojaly genocide prepared by Heydar Aliyev Foundation. The books about the genocide and Azerbaijani realities prepared by the foundation were distributed among them.
The discussions focused on transfer of Armenians to historical Azeri lands, ceding of Irevan (Yerevan) and Zangazur to Armenia, genocide facts committed by Armenians against Turks several times. It was especially noted that Azerbaijani and Turkish Diaspora organizations, intellectuals should unite efforts to inform the world community of these truths.
Ganira Pashayeva met with governor of Kayseri Movlud Bilici in the framework of the events.
