Parliament to discuss amendments and changes to Azerbaijan’s law on freedom of assembly in March

Baku. Elbrus Seyfullayev-APA. Amendments and changes to Azerbaijan’s law on freedom of assembly will be discussed in parliament in March, head of the parliament’s administration Safa Mirzayev told APA. He said that Council of Europe’s Venice Commission and other international organizations gave positive judgment in connection with the amendments and changes to the law.
According to Safa Mirzayev, nothing impedes the adoption of amendments and changes to the law on freedom of assembly.
Safa Mirzayev said the document will be discussed in the parliament in March and adopted in the spring session.
