Committee said that former rapporteur, Dutch parliamentarian Leo Platvoet’s report was adopted after discussions and there is no need for the appointment of new rapporteur at present.
“The report was submitted to the Committee of the Ministers of the organization after adopted in PACE Committee on Migration. Committee on Migration asked Committee of the Ministers to appreciate report and take further steps regarding this issue,” he said.
Though several months passed since appeal, there is no report on the fate of the report yet.
PACE told the APA the delay of the response is linked with issues being too much.
“Everything depends on the answer of the Committee of the Ministers. The appointment of new rapporteur on the demand of this organization, or preparation of new report can be brought to the agenda,” he said. /APA/
