OSCE chairman-in-office Ilkka Kanerva: One of our priorities will be settlement of conflicts

Ilkka Kanerva said that the settlement of conflicts, managing the situation during crises will be the prominent issues during the year.
â€œOSCE intends to cooperate with all political forces to overcome all possible difficulties. I am sure that the organization will successfully continue its activity to preserve security and stability in Europe,â€ he said.
Ilkka Kanerva said he will visit OSCE countries and underlined that he will make his first visit to Moldova next week.
Regarding Conventional Armed Forces treaty in Europe as the basis of the continent, OSCE chairman-in-office called on the sides to continue negotiations on this treaty.
Ilkka Kanerva also touched on the issues on Afghanistan, Tajikistan, trafficking, ecology etc. /APA/
