Azerbaijani candidate for the post of PACE vice-president not yet known

Azerbaijani candidate for the post of vice-president of Parliamentary Assembly of Council of Europe (PACE) is not yet known, head of Azerbaijani parliamentary delegation to PACE Samad Seyidov told the APA.
The statement will be made on this issue in January.
â€œElections have not yet been organized. That is why it is early to speak about this issue. But naturally, Azerbaijan will be represented in PACE Bureau,â€ he said.
Mr. Seyidov said that under procedures, heads of delegations represented in PACE usually nominate their candidacy to this post.
Mr. Seyidov responding to the question â€œWhich country Azerbaijan will support during election of PACE Presidentâ€ said that it is early to speak about it.
â€œWe have our own position regarding it. Measures are being taken in this direction,â€ he said. /APA/
