Azadliq alliance fails to reach decision on ADP
Azerbaijan People’s Front Party chairman Ali Kerimli stated after the meeting that Board of Chairs had discussed the situation in ADP and listened to the statements of both Akif Shahbazov and Serdar Jalaloglu. He said that Serdar Jalaloglu presented ADP’s regulation and decision of Organizing Committee for Preparation to the Congress.
“We decided to reconsider the presented documents deeply. After considering them the alliance will continue the meeting and probably reach a decision, he said.
Ali Kerimli noted that Akif Shahbazov didn’t attend the meeting as an official representative.
“We listened to Akif as a participant of discussion and Serdar Jalaloglu as a chief of Organizing Committee for Preparation to the Congress, he stated.
Serdar Jalaloglu also told APA that Akif didn’t represent ADP in the meeting but delivered Resul Guliyev’s position to the bloc leaders.
Akif Shahbazov stated that the alliance had discussions on preventing the expected breakup in ADP.
“The bloc leaders’ position is that ADP is about to break and it needs to be overcome. We can get out of political crisis. Board of Chairs is also interested in solution of the issues by the ADP Regulations. We think that the party’s General Assembly should be convened and reconsider the decision again, he said.
He also said he had been appointed ADP representative in the bloc by the order of party leader Resul Guliyev and from now on he will participate in the meeting.
“If I notify the bloc leaders of the order of Resul Guliyev, it means that I represent the party. I will continue my activity as a representative in the next meetings as well, he said. /APA/
