Azerbaijan to host GUAM summit
“GUAM’s peacekeeping forces can be formed by the next summit�, he said.
As to the possibility of dislocating GUAM peacekeepers in Nagorno Karabakh, Mr.Aliyev stated that it depends on the OSCE, which is dealing with the settlement of the conflict.
“The peacekeeping forces may be placed there if invited�, he noted.
The decision of forming GUAM peacekeepers was passed at the organization’s previous summit in Kiev on May 23, 2006./APA/
