CE Committee of Ministers discuss Azerbaijani MPsâ€™ written questions

The written questions of the members of Azerbaijani delegation to the Council of Europe Ganira Pashayeva and Rafael Huseynov were discussed at the 986th meeting of the Council of Europe Committee of Ministers, APAâ€™s Europe bureau reports.
Committee of Ministers had preliminary discussions and exchanged views on Ganira Pashayevaâ€™s written questions â€œActions of the leadership of Armenia undermining the Armenia-Azerbaijan ongoing peace processâ€?, â€œIllegal activity of foreign companies in the occupied territories of Azerbaijanâ€?, â€œPlans for â€œShusha Liberationâ€? monument in Armeniaâ€?, â€œThe Anniversary of the Khojali Massacreâ€?, â€œGrave violation of the principles of the Treaty on Conventional Forces of Europe by Armeniaâ€? and Rafael Huseynovâ€™s written question â€œNew threats by Armenia to the territorial integrity and cultural heritage of Azerbaijanâ€?.
Azerbaijan called the written questions raised by the Azerbaijani parliamentarians, topical issues. Azerbaijani diplomats also mentioned the facts on Khojali genocide committed by Armenians, destruction of cultural monuments in the Armenian-occupied lands and continuation of aggressive policy. Azerbaijan asked the chairman of the CE Committee of Ministers to take a decision on charging the Secretariat with preparing answers to these questions.
Besides, documents confirming Armeniaâ€™s aggressive policy were given to the Committee members.
Armenia protested against it calling these issues provocation.
