Though the reason why she quitted the Nixon Center has not been released, she has been appointed to a new post in Hudson Institute in Washington. As a chief of Eurasia Politics Center of the Institute, Ms. Baran will do research on energy issues, Islamic ideology, Turkey, Black Sea, South Caucasus and Central Asia.
Zeyno Baran was director of International Security and Energy Programs in Nixon Center for three years.
Both the Nixon Center and Hudson Institute have great influence in the USA and they incline to neither democrats nor republicans in their analysis. /APA/
