Azerbaijani President visits Georgia

Georgian Prime Minister Zurab Nogaideli has welcomed President Ilham Aliyev at Tbilisi Airport. No comment has been made on visit. The presidents are expected to have one-by-one meeting at Georgian Parliament in the second half of the day. According to the visit schedule, after the meetings both presidents will attend the opening ceremony of Heydar Aliyev’s memorial plaque in the right bank of the Kyur River.
The ceremony will be concluded with the performances of Azerbaijani and Georgian art collectives. The visit schedule includes President’s visit to newly constructed Republic Hospital and “Azadliq square� station of Tbilisi metro. The first part of the visit will be over by a reception in honor of President Ilham Aliyev.
Turkey’s Prime Minister Rajab Tayyip Erdogan will visit Georgia in the afternoon. The Premier will be welcomed by his Georgian counterpart Zurab Nogaideli and following that Erdogan will meet in private with President Saakashvili. Then the presidents of three countries will have a meeting at the special residence at Georgian parliament. Framework Agreement on Baku-Tbilisi-Akhalkalaki-Kars railway project is due to be signed after the trilateral meeting.
The heads of the states will also watch the friendship match between Georgian and Turkish football teams at national stadium named after Boris Paichadze.
President Ilham Aliyev and Turkish Premier Rajab Tayyip Erdogan will end their visit after that. /APA/
