The decisions made by ADP and some other opposition parties on cooperation with the government were discussed at the last meeting of Musavat Party Divan, Central Executive Office chief Arif Hajili told APA.
He said it had been stated in the meeting that the arguments of these parties are wrong. Divan has also made an official reference on the issue. The reference says that some parties making fundamental changes in their political courses are using wrong and harmful arguments for the political perspectives of the country.
“Some send pessimistic messages to the society about opposition’s unsuccessful struggle with the government and their failure. Musavat Party Divan considers all these arguments as groundless and regards them as yielding line, the reference reads.
Commenting on Musavat’s opinion, ADP deputy chairman Hesret Rustemov stated that they hadn’t considered that Musavat and other parties had to express attitudes towards the decision. He said as an independent party ADP made a decision according to the judgments of party members.
“Musavat expressed attitude on the frame of its narrow political interests. It is nothing more that ill-will to consider the decision as yielding. If opposition’s fight is effective, Musavat should prove that. Such attitude of Musavat doesn’t reduce tension between opposition and government, but increase it. It shows that Musavat tries to benefit by the conflict between opposition and government, he said. /APA/
