ADP General Assembly had no quorum in making decision on dialogue with NAP at the meeting, member of General Assembly Zemine Dunyamaliyeva told APA.
She said that it was considered to discuss the issue concerning the next congress. The matter of dialogue emerged during the meeting and she expressed objection to it.
“I didn’t see it normal to discuss the dialogue. Three persons spoke about the dialogue in the press, but no one asked for the opinion of the assembly. That’s why it was of no use to discuss to at the meeting. The meeting of the assembly should have been convened in November in order to inform it about the issue. The assembly should have passed the decision at the meeting on January 27. But Serdar Jalaloglu does all the work by himself and then asks us to pass the decision, she said.
Zemine Dunyamaliyeva said deputy chief stated that ADP had taken a radical position, but it had made no effects.
“He stated at the meeting that he supports cooperation with the government, not dialogue, she said.
Unlike the party chairman Resul Guliyev, she doesn’t consider the decision just a piece of paper. This is a deeply considered program.
“Serdar Jalaloglu intends to gather “Azadlig bloc and oppose NAP in 2008 presendential elections. I had supported to normalize opposition-government relations even when I was NAP member. But this is not a normal dialogue, this is a shameful dialogue, she said.
ADP deputy chairman Hesret Rustemov denied the information that there had been no quorum in the meeting.
“Each of assembly members were registered and signed. We wouldn’t have held the meeting if there were no quorum, he said. /APA/
