Igbal Agazadeh: Dialogue with YAP functionaries will not influence on power-opposition relations

â€œI do not support any dialogue with the persons represented in executive bodies of New Azerbaijan Party (YAP). These men are not the figures balancing and determining the policy of the government,â€? the chairman of Umid (Hope) Party, MP Igbal Agazadeh told the APA. Noting that the dialogue with YAP functionaries will not influence on socio-political processes and power-opposition dialogue, Agazadeh considers that dialogue should be carried on with the members of the government. As to the appeal of Azerbaijan Democrat Party (ADP) to YAP, Agazadeh said he does not intend to take a stance on it.
â€œThis decision was made by ADPâ€™s supreme boards and being the chairman of another party I do not consider it right to take a stance on the problem. We decided not to interfere in this process. If we want to establish democratic society we should respect the policy of individuals and organizations. But if I am asked whether I support dialogue with the government like ADP my answer may be different. Azerbaijani government is not ready for a dialogue,â€? he said.
Agazadeh considers that the object of dialogue should first be determined: â€œAccidental dialogue without any object is not clear for me,â€? he said. /APA/
