He said that about 1000 Azerbaijanis were deported from Russia within 9 months in 2006. Salimov said that about 100 Azerbaijanis appeal to 7 regions of Russia concerning their documents every day. The officer noted that they get into contact with these offices several times a day.
“No serious fact has been recorded up to now,� he said.
Salimov also said that the chief of the State Committee is regularly informed about the problems of the Azerbaijanis engaged in trading in Russia. /APA/
