Akif Shahbazov: There is contradiction between ADPâ€™s current position and its rally tactics

Azadliq bloc intends to continue mass rallies as a protest against the rise of prices for energy deliveries, Deputy Chairman of Azerbaijan Popular Front Party, the member of the bloc Hasan Kerimov told the APA. Kerimov said that it will be discussed in the Chairmen Council of the bloc, but the venue and the time of the rally has not been determined yet.
â€œThis issue will be raised to discussion at the next meeting,â€? he said.
As to the statement of organization men of Azerbaijan Democrat Party (ADP) against rallies, Kerimov said that the party leadership will participate in mass rallies.
â€œWe are allies and our decisions conform to the decisions of the bloc,â€? he said.
ADP Supreme Assembly chief Akif Shahbazov told the APA that to make decision on holding the rally is not in the competence of the Chairmen Council of the bloc.
â€œThis problem should be discussed within different parties and then put forward in the Chairmen Council. The idea of holding rally will probably be discussed within the parties. But I must say that there is contradiction between ADPâ€™s current position and choosing the rally tactics and this problem should be discussed within the party,â€? he said. /APA/
