ADP chairman: Recent decision of ADP Supreme Assembly is on paper only

He said that this idea is not new and noted that he himself put forward the idea to hold general assembly in Azerbaijan, discussed this issue with a number of organization men and members of social organizations and YAP is also expected to participate in the forum.
â€œThis issue is again on the agenda. But I do not believe that YAP will participate in the forum. We do not speak of the dialogue between ADP and government and even not dialogue of all opposition parties, but common dialogue of progressive forces in the country. My party can not hold negotiations against opposition forces and for personal interests. It is groundless to make a stir around this decision,â€? he said.
Rasul Guliyev noted that he has no information Supreme Assembly has discussed the issue. He admitted that he is usually unaware of the issues discussed at the assembly.
â€œI am interested in important issues. The last discussion of the assembly concerned with the congressâ€?, he said.
Rasul Guliyev noted to continue the political struggle and pointed out that it wonâ€™t be in partyâ€™s frame. He said he will resign only in case if at least 30% of party members oppose to his intentions. He commented on his Deputy Serdar Jalalogluâ€™s statement to resign if he disagrees with the decision of the party. Rasul condemned Serdar in â€œchangingâ€? before journalists.
â€œSerdar Jalaloglu becomes excited before the journalists and inclines to give sensational interview. It is not my problem, but there are some etiquettes which need to be followedâ€?, he said.
Rasul Guliyev doesnâ€™t admit the decision as a change of political course of the party. He said that no organization of opposition or government has good reputation. The party leader refused to talk about the presidential elections now. /APA/
