Meeting of Greece-Azerbaijan interparliamentary friendship group held in Parliament

Meeting of Greece-Azerbaijan interparliamentary friendship group was held in the Parliament, APA reports. The head of the group from the Azerbaijani side was Hadi Rajabli. He said the relations between the two countries are developing. He mentioned that Greece was the first country that recognized Azerbaijan’s independence and the relation between the two countries have been established since 1992.
“There is a need to establish relations between the legislative bodies of the two countries,� he said.
Stressing the importance of Azerbaijan’s integration to Europe the head of the friendship group from the Greek side Maximos Harakopoulos said that they will do their best to strengthen the relations between the parliaments of the two countries. /APA/
