Azerbaijani consulate opened in Bucharest

The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of Azerbaijani embassy, Romania-Azerbaijan Friendship Society, Romania-Azerbaijan Trade Camber, Youth Friendship Association.
Azerbaijani ambassador to Romania Eldar Hasanov said that Heyday Aliyev is the founder of current relations between the two countries. He said Romania was the second country among the countries recognized Azerbaijanâ€™s independence, Azerbaijan opened its first embassy in Romania in Eastern Europe, Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyevâ€™s successful visit to Bucharest and Romanian President Trajan Besescuâ€™s fruitful visit to Baku opened new stages in cooperation and relations.
He said the expansion of relations made opening the consulate necessary. /APA/
