“We are worried about the Azerbaijanis living in Russia and Georgia. Thousands of Georgian Azerbaijanis live in Russia without registration now. It is inevitable that they will come to Azerbaijan, in case they are deported from the country,� Nazim Ibrahimov, the chairman of the Committee on Work with Azerbaijanis Living Abroad said, APA reports. The Committee chairman said that the delegation will be sent to Moscow and the problems of Russian Azerbaijanis will be investigated. He said that Russian Azerbaijanis will not face with so many problems.
“The main problem is connected with Georgian Azerbaijanis,� he said.
Nazim Ibrahiomov said that 750 000 Azerbaijanis live in Russia now, according to unofficial data their number is 2.5m. /APA/
