Latin American Azerbaijanis Associationâ€™s official presentation in Mexico

Baku â€“APA. The official presentation of Latin American Azerbaijanis Association (LAAA) was held in the National Museum of History in ancient Chapultepec Castle, Mexico, press service of the State Committee for Diaspora Activities told APA. LAAA president Natig Atakishiyev informed about the goals and duties of the newly-established organization and called on the young people to take active part in the organizationâ€™s work. He thanked the State Committee for Diaspora activities, Azerbaijani embassies in the United States and Mexico for their support. Azerbaijanâ€™s charge dâ€™affairs in Mexico Ilgar Mukhtarov said he was hopeful that the Association would contribute to the development and strengthening of comprehensive relations between Azerbaijan and Mexico, as well as other Latin American countries, where his compatriots live.
Members of the Mexican parliament, government officials, diplomats, as well as representatives of Turkish, Ukrainian and Jewish Diasporas in the country attended the presentation ceremony.
