Baku. Lachin Sultanova –APA. “I believe that Israeli-Azerbaijani relationship will save its good, sincere and concrete content”, Josef Chagall, president of Azerbaijan-Israel International Association, former MP, told APA, speaking about how the party “Israel –Our Home” leader Avigdor Lieberman’s electing as foreign minister will effect on the Azerbaijani-Israeli relations. “Those, who try to put our countries at odds with each other, can not break these relations. Avigdor Lieberman stated for many times about the strategic importance of this region”. Chagall said Lieberman visited Baku in 2007. “He met with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, there are good relations between them and they had very serious dialogue and stated that they understand each other very well”.
Speaking about the new government’s views on the Middle East problem, Chagall said everything stayed put. “A road map was adopted for achieving peace. First article of that document reads that way to peace passes through the refusal of terror. If it happens no one can prevent the peace process”.
