Delegation of the Senate of Belgium arrives in Azerbaijan

Bakuâ€“APA. The Belgian delegation headed by Chairwoman of the Belgian Senateâ€™s Advisory Council for Gender Equality Senator Tillmans Dominique Conard arrived in Azerbaijan on March 29. Members of the Belgian parliament Marion Lemesre and Sadik Koksal, adviser Christian Servaes and owner of â€œBelturkâ€ newspaper Sherife Yavas are in the delegation, the State Committee for work with Diaspora told APA.
The delegation aims to enrich the Belgian societyâ€™s knowledge about Azerbaijan, relations of the Belgian government officials, public and political figures with Azerbaijan. The Belgian guests will visit the Heydar Aliyevâ€™s grave in the Alley of Honor in the morning on March 30 and will meet with the officials of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis, Ministry of National Security, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, State Committee for Work with the Refugees and Displaced Persons on March 30-31. The Belgian parliamentarians will visit the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and Museum of Azerbaijani History. They are also planning to hold press conference on the results of the visit.
