10 years have passed since education of Azerbaijani language in France

Baku. Kamala Guliyevaâ€“APA. 10 years have passed since education of Azerbaijani language in France. The Azerbaijani lessons began for the first time on March 5, 1999 at the Paris State Institute of Eastern Languages and Civilizations â€“ INALCO. 20 French students of INALCO Farsi and Turkish schools joined the first Azerbaijani lessons taught by Aygun Eyyubova. Later two more professors â€“ Elnura Zeynalova and Jules Hatier also joined the teaching of Azerbaijani language. An official diploma was founded in November 2008.
Azerbaijani was an element of education in several schools of INALCO over the past nine years. The students have an opportunity now to learn Azerbaijani in the separate courses and to receive diplomas. This is contribution of Azerbaijani First Lady, president of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO good will ambassador Mehriban Aliyeva. The First Lady of Azerbaijan attended the inauguration of Azerbaijani division in the Institute. Mehriban Aliyeva made her contribution to the opening of Azerbaijani division in the INALCO library as well.
She presented more than 100 Azerbaijani books to the library. 20 students are studying now in the Azerbaijani division of the Institute. They are showing deep interest to the culture, music, cinema history, folklore, culinary of our people.
