Khojaly Genocide commemorated in Denmark and Switzerland

Baku-APA. The conference on the 17th anniversary of Khojaly Genocide was held in Denmark on the initiative of “Motherland” Community, Press Service of State Committee on Affairs with Diaspora told APA that the victims of the genocide had been commemorated for a minute of silence in the conference, where representatives of Diasporas of various nations attended it. Safar Sadigi, Chairman of the Community provided capacious information about the tragedy and spoke about Armenian terrorism committed against Azerbaijanis throughout the history and Nagorno Karabakh conflict. Rusudan Giorgberidze, Chairman of Georgian Community said that Georgians supported Azerbaijan in every case. The feature film on the tragedy was demonstrated and brochures published in various languages were delivered to the guests.
Azerbaijani Diasporas held protest actions in connection with 17th anniversary of Khojaly Genocide in Switzerland. The organizations “Karabakh”, “For Azerbaijan”, “Prometheus”, “Land of Fire”, “Familiarity” and “Azerbaijani Federation-Switzerland” attended the protest action and the action started with Azerbaijani anthem. After commemoration of the victims of the tragedy for a minute of silence, speeches were sounded in English and Swiss. Brochures covering facts on Armenian aggressions in Khojaly were delivered. The resolution on condemning genocide was adopted at the end of the protest action and submitted to international human rights organizations.
