World Azerbaijanis Coordination Council schedules its Baku meeting

Baku. Kamala Guliyeva–APA. The World Azerbaijanis Coordination Council announced the schedule of it meeting to take place in Baku on December 18-19. Press service of the Committee for Work with Diaspora told APA the events, to be held under motto “Azerbaijan – the East’s Gateway to the World” and dedicated to December 31, the World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day, will start with the visiting of national leader Heydar Aliyev’s memorial in the Alley of Honor on December 18. Following the official welcoming ceremony of the World Azerbaijanis Coordination Council’s meeting at Park Inn, Baku, the film “Ayrilarmi Konul Candan” (“Is the Heart Separate from the Soul”) will be shown and then report on the works done since World Azerbaijanis’ 2nd Congress will be heard.

The participants will discuss in afternoon on December 18, the “Solidarity Charter of World Azerbaijanis”. On December 19, members of the World Azerbaijanis Coordination Council will meet with the government officials, members of the parliament, representatives of the non-governmental organizations and members of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences. Individual exhibition of Azerbaijani artist and members of UNESCO Artists Federation Ashraf Heybatov, living in Germany, entitled “Germany from the view of Azerbaijani artist” will be opened within the meeting and conference on the “Diaspora’s role in the integration of Azerbaijanis into society of the adoptive countries” will be held at the “Inam” Pluralism Center.
