Forum â€œBuilding Bridges - from Caspian to Mediterraneanâ€ takes place in California

Californiaâ€“APA. Azerbaijani American Council, American Jewish Committee and Orange County Turkish-American Association initiated a joint forum entitled â€œBuilding Bridges â€“ from Caspian to Mediterraneanâ€ in Irvine, California. Consuls General of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Israel Elin Suleymanov, Hakan Tekin and Jacob Dyane attended the forum, Press Service of the State Committee for Work with Azerbaijanis Living Abroad told APA. Mayor of Irvine Beth Krom, Head of Orange County Protocol Department Joanne Sokolski and nearly 200 representatives of the Jewish, Azerbaijani and Turkish Diasporas in Southern California participated at the event. President of Azerbaijani American Council Javid Huseynov and Rabbi Mark Dvorkin moderated the forum.
The consuls general of Azerbaijan, Israel and Turkey delivered speeches about the strategic relations between the three countries. The diplomats spoke about the views of their countries on the issues of regional security, war on terror, diversification of energy resources, and peaceful solution to the regional conflicts. Elin Suleymanov and Hakan Tekin spoke about the tolerant attitude to the Jewish people in their countries and Jacob Dyane spoke about Azerbaijan and Turkeyâ€™s role in establishing peace between Israel and Muslim world.
