“We have information that separate members of Korchinsky’s organization, that is 15 people to be more precise, used to live in his office. He used those people for carrying out most radical actions,” Paskal told the Ukrainian interior minister when they met to discuss the investigation into the mass protest actions in Kiev.

On December 1, the Ukrainian Interior Ministry said that more than 300 Bratstvo radicals stood behind the offences committed outside the presidential administration building. They acted under the guidance of Dmitry Korchinsky. Over a hundred people, including protesters and law enforcers, were injured as a result of their actions. After those events, Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich instructed Chief Prosecutor Viktor Pshonka to carry out a detailed investigation into the events that took place in Kiev on November 30- December 1.

On December 5, Ukrainian prosecutors turned to court with a request to detain Dmitry Korchinsky.
