Baku-APA. Bodies of five teenagers were recovered after a fire in a ‘dacha’ (a wooden house built on a small patch of land) in the Surgut region of Russia’s Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area located in Western Siberia, local police told TASS on Saturday, APA reports quoting TASS.
"The bodies of five teenagers presumably aged 15 have been recovered. According to preliminary reports, they were celebrating one’s birthday," the police source said adding the debris was being removed.
"People may be still found under the debris," he said.

Russia’s Investigative Committee is conducting a probe into the deaths of five teenagers in the fire in a country house in the Surgut region of Russia’s Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District located in western Siberia, the press service of the regional Investigative Committee’s department said on Sunday.
"After the fire was extinguished, the bodies of five teenagers aged between 14 and 16 were discovered," the press service said.
The bodies of the victims have been sent for forensic examination with a view to determining the cause of death.
