Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates, as regional middle powers, play a positive and constructive role in international relations, contributing to stability, cooperation and dialogue, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmet Hajiyev write on his X account, APA reports.
He noted that he met with Dr. Anwar Gargash, Diplomatic Adviser to the President of the United Arab Emirates, in Abu Dhabi.
According to Hajiyev, the meeting focused on ways to further strengthen bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and the UAE across various fields, as well as issues of mutual interest.
The sides also discussed the latest developments in the region and exchanged views on them.
