Moscow considers US President Donald Trump’s idea of an energy ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine a good initiative, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
According to him, Russia has seen Donald Trump’s statement on an energy ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine, and Moscow has always supported peaceful solutions.
Peskov noted that ensuring the safe operation of oil refineries does not solve the problems of the global petroleum products market.
He said the main problem is restrictions imposed on the export of products: “The removal of sanctions on energy supplies will saturate the global market with petroleum products and lower prices. Russia will be able to supply the domestic market with petroleum products. Currently, comprehensive work is being carried out to ensure the security of energy facilities.”
