Türkiye and Azerbaijan are also expanding opportunities for cooperation within NATO, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov stated at a joint press conference with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye Hakan Fidan in Baku, APA reports.
The Minister said that Türkiye and Azerbaijan carry out extensive activities in defense, trade, security, cooperation with international organizations and numerous other areas. There are significant opportunities for cooperation between the two countries in these areas.
“Further developing the African dimension in the policies of Türkiye and Azerbaijan, as well as relations with African countries, may make it possible to achieve certain results in the political, trade, security and financial spheres.
For example, Türkiye is one of the countries with the broadest diplomatic and economic representation in Africa and undoubtedly ranks among the top three in this field. Developing relations with Africa is also one of the areas in which we are moving forward together and putting forward initiatives. It is possible to establish new ties between Azerbaijan, Türkiye and the African countries with which cooperation will be carried out,” the Minister noted.
