Lawmakers from the opposition Armenia bloc did not attend the first session of the newly elected National Assembly on August 3, Newsarmenia reports.
The session is being held with the participation of representatives of the ruling Civil Contract Party, the opposition Strong Armenia alliance, and other members of parliament.
Note that the Armenia bloc is a political alliance formed around former President Robert Kocharyan, while the Strong Armenia alliance is a political group associated with businessman Samvel Karapetyan.
