Baku-APA. A World War Two mortar shell was discovered on Friday near a stadium in the Ukrainian city of Lvov where Euro-2012 matches are to be held, the Interior Ministry said, APA reports quoting Ria Novosti.
The shell was found by construction workers tidying up the area around the stadium and was later defused.
No one was hurt.
The first match at the Lvov stadium will be played on Saturday between Germany and Portugal.
