Main indexes of world markets

On July 14, the US stock markets saw a mainly positive tendency, APA-Economics reports.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose by 0.20% to 44,459.65, the S&P 500 index rose by 0.14% to 6,268.56, and the Nasdaq Composite rose by 0.27% to 20,640.33. The NYSE Composite index rose by 0.16% to 20,581.45. Canada's S&P/TSX Composite index rose by 0.65% to 27,198.86.

A mixed tendency was observed in European stock markets. The Euro Stoxx 50 index fell by 0.23% to 5,370.85 points, Germany's DAX index fell by 0.39% to 24,160.64 points, and France's CAC 40 index fell by 0.27% to 7,808.17 points. The UK's FTSE 100 index rose by 0.64% to 8,998.06 points.

In world markets, the euro rose by 0.15% to $1.1681 against the dollar.
