On January 2, the price of Bitcoin recorded a slight increase on cryptocurrency exchanges, APA-Economics reports.
Over the past 24 hours, the world’s most expensive cryptocurrency rose by 1.52% on the CoinMarketCap platform to reach USD 88,829.
An increase was also observed in the price of Ethereum over the past day. The value of this cryptocurrency rose by 1.58% to USD 3,020. Among the top five cryptocurrencies, XRP rose by 1.69% over the past 24 hours, while BNB increased by 0.39%.
It should be noted that Bitcoin’s highest price was recorded in October last year, when it exceeded USD 126,000.
