Non-governmental organizations in Azerbaijan enjoy the right for exit-polls in the elections

Elbrus Seyfullayevâ€“APA. â€œNon-governmental organizations in Azerbaijan were granted with a right to conduct exit-polls in the electionsâ€, it was voiced at the Parliamentâ€™s session on Friday during the discussions of amendments to some legislative acts, APA reports. Foreign legal bodies can participate in exit-polls only together with the Azerbaijani NGOs, said Ali Huseynov, Chairman of Parliamentâ€™s Standing Commission on Legal Policy and State-Building. The document was adopted after the discussions. Draft contracts signed with a number of countries, amendments to the laws on Public Service and Constitutional Court, as well as document on the establishment of the medal of â€œ90th anniversary of Azerbaijani Policeâ€ were also approved at the Parliament. Lawmakers discussed and approved the changes to administrative-territorial divisions in Azerbaijanâ€™s Fuzuli, Samukh, Lerik and Yardimli regions as well.
