Azerbaijani Parliament to discuss bill on education in spring session

Baku. Elbrus Seyfullayev-APA. Azerbaijani Parliament has held the next meeting, APA reports. While discussing the current issues MP Ali Masimli said Armenians had started committing arsons in the occupied Azerbaijani territories again. The parliamentarian said that Azerbaijani side should take a stance on this problem, representatives of the international organizations operating in Azerbaijan should be invited to the parliament and have discussions.
MP Gudrat Hasanguliyev mentioned that relevant persons and bodies in Russia had been appealed for carrying out unbiased investigation on the case of parliamentarian Ilyas Ismayilovâ€™s son Etimad Ismayilov.
â€œMurders are ordered, laws are not observed in Russia. I think we should not be indifferent to Etimad Ismayilovâ€™s arrest,â€ he said.
MP Fazil Gazanfaroghlu said they had appealed to Baku Mayorâ€™s Office for holding rally, but the answer did not satisfy them. Fazil Gazanfaroghlu also noted that his party had no office.
MP Arzu Samadbayli said they appealed to the Mayorâ€™s Office for holding rally on May 18, but did not receive answer.
â€œWe are offered the stadium in Bibiheybat settlement, and it is difficult to rally there,â€ he said.
MP Iltizam Akbarli offered to increase rental compensations for the parliamentarians, who rent houses.
Parliamentarian Igbal Agazadeh offered to increase salaries of servicemen.
MP Panah Huseyn asked why the bill on education was not discussed.
Speaker Ogtay Asadov said the bill was completely ready for the second reading and would be discussed in the spring session of the parliament.
MP Siyavush Novruzov took a stance on the speeches of the parliamentarians from opposition.
â€œMusavat Party had an office for 15 years, they did not pay the rental. This money should be demanded from Musavat Party. Why does the opposition want to rally in the center of the city? Why donâ€™t they rally in Bibiheybat?â€ he said.
