Amendments to the document signed by the President were submitted to the Parliament on May 2. Moreover, a group of MPs have presented draft law on amendments to the Electoral Code.
“The draft law has been considered and will be laid on the tapis soon. Members of the Commission proposed to diminish period of election campaign. This article has not been included in the Code. It will be discussed as a proposalâ€, he said. Representative of Azerbaijan to the Venice Commission Latif Huseynov noted that proposed amendments were of technical character.
