The Syrian National Dialogue Congress will be held in the Russian city of Sochi on January 30, APA reported citing RIA Novosti.
The Syrian opposition military delegation will take part in the work of the Congress.
Staffan de Mistura, UN Special Envoy for Syria, was also invited to participate in the event.
Countries-guarantors of the Syrian ceasefire - Russia, Iran and Turkey - agreed at the international meeting in the Kazakh capital of Astana to hold the Syrian National Dialogue Congress in Sochi on January 29-30. Around 1,500 participants representing various Syrian political forces are expected to take part in the event where representatives of the Syrian government and opposition will discuss the ways of political settlement of the conflict.
