Baku – APA. One of three Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) leaders Bahoz Erdal has been killed in Kobani, Syria, Turkish press reported quoting websites close to ISIL, APA reports.
It’s reported that Bahoz Erdal came from Northern Iraq to Kobani to provide moral support to militants of the People's Protection Units (YPG), a PKK wing, and strengthen resistance. He underwent attacks of ISIL militants in Azadi square and was killed. It’s stressed that the websites close to ISIL have been given instruction to release information in this regard.
Bahoz Erdal, (real name Fahman Husain) was born in 1969 in Syria. He has medical education. After arrest of Abdulla Ojalan, he is part of the 3-man PKK Executive Committee which includes himself, acting PKK leader Murat Karayılan and PKK co-founder Cemil Bayik.
