The defeat of the terrorist group «Islamic state»* (IG*, banned in Russia) means that the solution to the Palestinian issue has once again become the main priority for the Islamic world, said the Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, APA reports quoting The Russian Today.
The President was speaking on Tuesday in the 13-th session of the Parliamentary Union of the organization of Islamic cooperation (OIC) held in Iran.
«One of the main positive aspects of the defeat of extremist currents IG* is the return of the Palestinian question in its place — as the main priority of the political agenda of the Islamic Ummah (community ed.),» said Rouhani, whose words were published on the presidential website.
