Tehran. Suleyman Farzaliyev – APA. A new fire has begun in Bou Ali Sina petrochemical factory in the southern port of Mahshahr.
The initial fire which had broken out Wednesday was extinguished completely this morning. However, a new fire began in the afternoon, APA’s Tehran bureau reported.
According to preliminary information, the fire was caused by a petrochemical leaking. On the other hand, the dry and windy weather also helped the blaze expand in no time. The fire is feared to reach the other fuel tanks. Firefighter planes and helicopters have been sent from Tehran to tack the fire.
